Vison - Profile
The company was formed in 1993 by Stuart Urban who
has been its principal director. It has traded in
good standing since then, and its production volume
has measured several million Euro in the last few
years.
A
British film and television production company, it
has produced two feature films and a number of documentaries.
The most recent feature film was mystical thriller
Revelation (2001, www.revelation-movie.com).
Budgeted at 10 million Euro, this is a cinema production
financed by Romulus Films and Overseas Film Group,
filmed in England, France and Malta. It stars Terence
Stamp and Udo Kier and is written and directed by
Stuart Urban, and produced by Jonathan Woolf and Stuart
Urban.
The
first feature film Cyclops Vision made was Preaching
To The Perverted (1997), developed with the European
Script Fund and the BBC, produced for 4 million Euro
and sold to 23 countries across the world for theatrical
release. It was produced, written and directed by
Stuart Urban. See www.

1997 the company made the documentary Perverts Progress
for Bravo Channel (UK) which charted the making of
the above feature film.
Media Plus and its predecessor programmes of the EU
have developed three Cyclops Vision films that have
been produced. The company currently has three feature
films in development, The Bomb & The Raven (UK/Canadian
co-production - budget $7 million), Dicing With Life
(UK/Australian co-production - budget $10 million)
and Tovarisch (UK/Germany co-production - budget $15
million).
