Half-hour documentary with authoritative voices, fresh facts and a passionate argument by Harold Pinter.
Broadcasted by BBC2 in 1999 it is the first British TV programme to argue resolutely against the Nato war on Yugoslavia.
Harold Pinter said, "I received more letters from the people in this country about that programme than I have ever received in my life about anything. They demonstrated the depth of shame of people in this country and anger, and impotence, and frustration."
In a powerful condemnation of the war, Pinter described the NATO onslaught against Serbia as "a bandit action, committed with no serious consideration of the consequences, ill-judged, ill-thought, miscalculated, an act of deplorable machismo".
